I love eating noodles and pasta. Therefore, when Philips produced a noodle and pasta maker I was ecstatic. This maker makes the process of making noodles and pasta so easy. It is a fully automatic machine which allowed you to make all kinds of pasta and noodle in just 15 minutes for 500g of plain flour. Believe it or not! In addition, the cleaning process is effortless. It comes with a cleaning tool.
Have a look at the cleaning tool above. It has two pointing bits at the end. You can use it to get rid of the dough that is stuck in the shaping disc.
The machine comes with shaping discs for fettuccine, spaghetti, penne and lasagna.
A 250g cup for flour and water cup that measures up to 180ml are also provided. The good news is Philips has also compiled 25 recipes for pasta and noodles from all around the world in a beautiful colourful recipe book which comes with the machine.

I use this guideline to make my pasta. It was delicious and fresh. You will have to place the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water until it is al dente.
Here is a recipe for bolognese sauce which has lots of hidden vegetables. Good for kids who dislike eating vegies. I make it in my TM31.
Ingredients
1 onion
2 clove onion
2 carrots, chopped them roughly into 3 or 4 pieces
120g or celery
3 pieces of bacon
50g olive oil
500g of pork and veal mince
50g beef stock
350g tomato puree
Salt and pepper to taste
Methods
Place onion, garlic, celery, bacon and carrot into TM bowl and chop for 8 seconds on speed 6.
Next, scrape down everything in the bowl and add oil and saute for 3 minutes at 100 degrees Celcius on speed 1.
Add mince and cook for 10 minutes at Varoma temperature on reverse + speed soft.
I will add beef stock at 5 minutes.
Later, add tomato puree, salt and pepper. Cook for 15 minutes at Varoma temperature on reverse + speed soft. At this point remove measuring cup and place simmer basket on top to avoid sauce bubbling out from the bowl.
Finally, when the sauce is cooked pour it over the home-made pasta and add a bit of cheddar and parmesan to add flavour to your spaghetti bolognese.
