Over the weekend I decided to make mung bean dessert soup in the Philips All In One Cooker, which is a pressure cooker. It was quick to prepare and I did not need to soak the mung beans to soften the beans when I used the pressure cooker. The whole process only took 20 minutes. Mung bean is known to be a great refreshing detox soup.
Ingredients:
3 cups of rinsed mung beans.
150g of sugar. If you want it to be sweet, you add more sugar.
6 bowls of water
Methods:
Place 3 cups of rinsed mung beans into the inner cooker pot.
Add 6 bowls of soups.
Cover the cooker with its lid now. Making sure that it is properly shut and set the pressure valve to seal.
Next, press Pressure Cook until you get to the Soup cooking function and then you press Start/Reheat.
After twenty minutes, you wait for the pressure to be released naturally and the floater will drop. Therefore, you can open the lid safely.
Enjoy your delicious mung bean dessert soup. You can also add sago and coconut milk at the start of the cooking process.
